As a candidate using Arlyn Recruiting’s services, you are asked to provide certain pieces of information for us to provide you with the best possible service. In addition to your contact details, CV/Resume, and a description of the type of work you are looking for, your file may include the following:

Disclosure of Personal Information
Your personal information is never traded, sold, or leased by Arlyn Recruiting to any external companies. Your information is only disclosed for Arlyn Recruiting’s legitimate business purposes or as required to meet legal and regulatory requirements, for example, to comply with a court order.
In the normal course of business, Arlyn Recruiting will only disclose your personal information to one of our clients if you have provided consent. As a candidate, you rely on us to share such information. Arlyn Recruiting only provides your information to employers required and requested to make an informed decision regarding your candidacy for a specific position.
Arlyn Recruiting may share information with our affiliates, partners, contractors, or other companies (collectively “representatives”) that Arlyn Recruiting uses to provide our staffing services. However, Arlyn Recruiting will only disclose limited information as required for the function that will be performed by the representative on our behalf. We also ensure that every contract we enter into with a representative clearly outlines the representative’s obligation to protect your personal information and live up to the principles of privacy.

- Background Check Providers: Organizations conducting criminal, educational, and other required checks.
- Testing Centers: Facilities where employee testing is performed.

Consent
Having read this policy and by accepting Arlyn Recruiting services and providing the Company with your personal information, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as specified herein.
Whenever possible and when necessary, Arlyn Recruiting will obtain your express consent for uses and disclosures. For example, Arlyn Recruiting will seek your explicit consent before releasing your information to a third party for the purpose of conducting a background check.
Your consent is implied if Arlyn Recruiting believes to be using your personal information for purposes that are obvious to you. For example, if you list the names and phone numbers of your previous employers on your resume for reference checking purposes, Arlyn Recruiting will not seek your express consent before checking these references.
Retention of Personal Information
Arlyn Recruiting retains your information if you are using Arlyn’s placement services, or longer if required by law. Arlyn Recruiting will retain personal information for a minimum of one year following acceptance of a permanent employment position or unless you ask us to delete it.
If you want all your information deleted and your account removed, please email this request to privacy@arlynrecruiting.ca and you will receive a confirmation when this has been completed.
Marketing Communications Policy
