The Arlyn Recruiting team had the pleasure of attending the 2026 BCLMA Annual Summer Social taking place on June 11 at Tap & Barrel Bridges on Granville Island, and we are still feeling grateful for such a warm and enjoyable evening.
Hosted by the BC Legal Management Association, the Summer Social brought together professionals from across British Columbia’s legal community for an evening of conversation, connection, and celebration. With a beautiful sunny day, a relaxed waterfront setting, and a welcoming atmosphere, it was the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new members of the legal industry.
Representing Arlyn Recruiting at this year’s event were John Becker, Director of Recruitment, and Kayleigh Hansen, Recruiting & Operations Manager. They were delighted to spend the evening connecting with law firm leaders, legal professionals, and industry partners, sharing conversations, strengthening relationships, and celebrating the people who make British Columbia’s legal sector such a dynamic and collaborative community. We were also glad to have Jean Chose join John and Kayleigh for a few moments as the team gathered at Granville Island, adding to the sense of connection and excitement around the evening.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the BCLMA for organizing such a successful event. From the venue to the atmosphere to the opportunity for meaningful networking, the evening was a true reflection of the BCLMA’s ongoing commitment to bringing the legal community together.

Events like the BCLMA Summer Social are a valuable reminder of how important relationships are in the legal industry.
